Brush making a mark as I start a stroke [OSX 10.14.6]

Hi there! I recently upgraded my version of Photoshop CC (21.2) for Mac (running 10.14.6) and began seeing this problem where my brush tool will occasionally make a static mark in the shape of the brush tip when I begin a stroke. Please see below. I'm not sure how to fix this issue! I'm an artist, so I really need my brushes to work as expected!

I'm using a cintiq. My driver is currently up to date as well.

OK, good. There's been a few reports of this.

Haha good to know it's not just me! Any idea if it's a Photoshop issue or a Wacom driver issue?
