Brush Pen Tilt seems to be partially unresponsive?

Hi,

I'm on the latest version of Photoshop 2022 on Windows and there seems to be an issue with brush tilt where I can tilt the brush to any angle when my brush is hovering over the canvas, but as soon as I start drawing then the brush angle locks in place until I let go.

There also seems to be no live pen tilt preview either.

I'm running on an XP Pen Artist 22 (2nd gen), I have installed and reinstalled the latest drivers, and I have disabled Windows Ink.

Any way to remedy this? I can't find much on this anywhere else.

Interesting.  I have the XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro and everything seems to work fine on mine. 
Have you tried writing XP-Pen?
