Question

Brush Size Scaling

Simple question: Why is it that, when scaling up the brush size with the slider in the brush setting window, the size scales up gradually right up until the end where it then skyrockets up? Like, 95% of the way down the slider, it will be at 1500 px. Then, only a tiny bit further, like 97%, it suddenly shoots up to like 3900 px. Up till then, it only increased gradually. I like to work on a really big scale so that I can size my work down whenever I'm done, and I'm often near the far end of the brush size scale, so having such drastic changes whenever I adjust the size is a bit annoying. Is there a way to make it so that the entire slider scales from 1 to it's max 5000 evenly?

I actually do not think you would like that behavior.  It would make it very difficult or impossible to make fine small brush tip adjustments. The slightest movement would cause large changes in brush tip size   You would need to type in all changed to tip size. Or make a slider with 5000 positions. A 4K display is only 3840 pixels wide. How useable would full screen width sliders be.
