Hello
Can anyone help? Since the update at the end of May 2023, the brush shortcut for size and hardness control no longer works (ctrl + Alt + Right Mouse + drag left/right).
I have gone into any tool, preferences to check, tried other keyboard shortcuts and watched tutorials. I even uninstalled and reinstalled PS.
I suspect it's a bug, has anyone had the same problem or solved it already? Thanks

I have just moved to photoshop 2024 from the beta (Mac). In the beta version, while in the brush tool, using the control+option keys you were able to adjust size and hardness. Now, in the 2024 version that same key combo controls size and opacity. How can we change this back? There is an opacity slider in the menu bar, but the hardness adjustment has to be accessed through an adjustment panel, much more difficult. Please adobe stop making changes just to make changes. There are people who have used these tools for years and expect the controls to remain the same. I see no good reason for this change. Please supply a road back to the previous colntrols.

Mine is checked, and it still gives me problems.

Ok.. self-update -
The shortcut keys are control-option-click (on a Mac) with the brush tool selected to get the brush to re-size.
Could have sworn I did the exact same thing yesterday with my ps files, and it only gave me that silly eyedropper target tool (why would I need that for Pete's sake..)
A gremlin is on the loose.
This is with the latest PS 26.0.0. release, Mac OS Sequoia 15.0.1 (24A348)
