Brush Tilt Size Control Not Working

I'm trying to create some custom brushes and for some reason PS is not recognizing my pen tilt in a very specific way. It's clearly recognizing the pen tilt because it affects the brush preview, and the pen tilt works fine with bristle tip brushes. When I turn size control to tilt, it stretches out, as if the size control was working. But when I apply the stroke, it's as if control is set to Pen Pressure, and the tilt does not change the stroke, which does not match the brush preview.

How can I fix this? I'm desperate to create a brush where tilt will affect the size dynamics.

I'm using a Huion Inspiroy Dial Q620M, and
using Photoshop version 21.1.3., on Windows 10, 64-bit. I tried updating a couple of months ago but the new version introduced so many new issues that I had to revert, losing all my settings, which took weeks to restore manually. I'm done with Photoshop updates, as they always seem to mess with my settings and create more problems for me, so that's not a solution I'm looking at currently.

Thank you for your help!

Though you can select pen tilt fro the pull down list. Photoshop seem to only support Pen pressure for Shape Dynamics and Transfer it may has to do with  the Toggle Control Icon in the Tool option bar for Opacity and tip sizes. These  seem to be in the tool options bar for many brush like tools. So it maybe it an Adobe choice to toggle between off and Pen pressure.  You will find Tilt can be set to contact scatter and other brush attributes and wok. For Shape dynamics and Transfer Photoshop seem to toggle between off and Pen Pressure.

Thanks for your reply, JJ. That would appear to be the case bus it seems like a serious flaw in brush making, especially consider they've included the options in the drop down menu, and when shape dynamics is set to tilt control you can even see the brush preview adjusting according to tilt. It seems like it's set up to work, but I can't find anything online about it.

Hello, if it is not recognized even when you select the drop-down, I would search or create a thread on the https://feedback.photoshop.com site, watched by Adobe staff, and meant to post bugs and feature requests. Make sure to provide as many relevant details as possible.

Try also to contact Kyle webster on social media, and ask him about this very issue, he might know about it, or be able to push to change things.
