BRUSHES CANT'BE TURNED IN TO RUBBER ???

Hello everyone,

I'm disappointed to learn that with the new release is not possible turn a photoshop brush into a rubber.

Is that true? Isn't this a huge step back ? There may be a way to fix that problem ?

What exactly is this supposed to mean?

Of course you can use any brush with the eraser tool.

Switch to the eraser tool
Go to the brushes panel and use Ctrl+Alt+click to load the brush without changing tools

If you then want to save a copy of the brush with the eraser tool built in go to the top right of the Brushes Panel and choose New Brush Preset and save it with Tool settings checked

Hi - "Rubber" is a common UK term meaning "eraser". It means something completely different in the US

But what caused anybody to make the nonsensical claim that had the OP confused to begin with?

Is it (yet again) a case of »refusal to read the what’s new section of the help« and subsequent ignorance about the »Include Tool Settings«-setting?

Dang, now that I think of it I’m not sure anymore if »Include Tool Settings« was really mentioned in the »What’s New« or just in some of the presentation videos on the occasion of the release …

i'd appreciate if you let me see where can i find the "what's new section".

Anyhow the confusion been caused by the fact that before of the last updates, to turn a brush into an eraser was definitely more easy and intuitive, you could have just click on the icon of the last brush with the eraser tool selected.

Confusion increased when i saw this tutorial How to Convert a Photoshop Brush to an Eraser in photoshop CC V19 - YouTube

I suppose it was fair to ask.
