Brushes settings and Actions

Hi everyone,

why is it not possible to record and maintain the personal settings of a brush (size, spacing, rotation, inclination and much more ...) in an action to be reused later with these settings? it is frustrating to have to create predefined brushes every time ...

You can record filter and effect settings, I do not understand why it's not possible for brushes ...

to tell the truth I was hoping they were already implemented for some time ... I will make a feature request...

What are you actually trying to achieve with this?

Using Bushes in Actions is not terribly well implemented but in many situations (watermarking for example) it would be a bad approach anyway.

Hi!
Specifically, I would like to create actions to reproduce drawing and painting effects using basic images as subjects and layers used as a mask ... like the ones you see on the various market place, but I would like to avoid having to create individual presets each time of brush, before recording the action. This would allow you to experiment more with different settings directly....

Currently if you select a predefined brush and change the settings while recording an action (without saving a new preset) these new settings are lost in the next playback of the action (are used only the selected default brush settings ) ...

In this way it is impossible to reproduce the final aspect of the image because the changes to the brush settings are not recorded....

I'm so sorry, you're right ... my English is really bad and I use google translate for help ...

I try to explain myself better:

• I would like to create actions to reproduce the same effect of painting, drawing (and more) on different images
• while I record the action I experiment using different brush settings by modifying them in the "Brush settings" panel
• these changes are not recorded by the action (THIS IS THE REAL PROBLEM), unless you have first created and saved all the brushes as new brushes...

I want to be able to set an action for the brush type and brush settings, to use with a drawing tablet. I want to be able to set an action for a soft brush. of my choice, with the pen pressure settings to opacity, etc while another would have pen settings for other specific pen settings. I would also like to see the tablet enabling in LR for those of us who do not own a Wacom tablet. I have a Huion which works to my needs in PS.
