BUG! Photoshop not responding

Since the 2020 release of PHOTOSHOP, the window of the project has often not reacted during work, as if it has been frozen. The mouse is changed to WINDOWS style, I can click on the toolbar but it has no effect, can not zoom in and out, can save the file. This bug has been around until now, the 2022 release.

I have frequently encountered this problem on the company's computer and personal computer, This bug appears in both win10 and win11,and I have seen many people on the Chinese forums encounter this problem, so it is not a computer problem, this is a common problem. Resetting Photoshop preferences has no effect.

The text described above was translated using translation software. This guy describes it better: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/bug-photoshop-not-responding-but-is-still-active/m-p/11807210

Adobe Photoshop version: 23.1.1 20220106.r.202

Windows 11 64-bitVersion: 11 or a later version of 10.0.22000.434

AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core Processor 3.89

Why hasn't the official solved such a serious problem? From the 2020-2022 version, there will be jamming, that is, when using, the canvas suddenly gets stuck and can't be operated. This is a common phenomenon, not an example

I found it easier to trigger bugs when dragging the Canvas with the Spacebar.

Yes, same here. Just moving image around with space bar to clean up a few old photo scans with clone tool or heal tool is when it happens.

As in the linked post described do you have tried to reset the Photoshop preferences?

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset_preferences

If this doesn't help the next step is to deactivate the GPU support

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html#DisableGraphicsProcessor

Another try is to deactivate the "Native Canvas" option.

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 5 - Topaz Photo

I agree with Gixxxa75. Deactivate the "Native Canvas" option does nothing, bugs still occur. Deactivate the "Native Canvas" option, “Zoom tool” and dragging the canvas will become sluggish, which will affect my work, I still have to turn on this option.

““Zoom tool” and dragging the canvas will become sluggish”  i mean "deactivate the GPU support"...

Chen, try it with native canvas deactivated and  "use openCL" unticked in the GPU settings, thats been OK so far for me this afternoon.
