After updating to Photoshop CC 2018 from 2017 when I try to open the Camera Raw plug-n an alert appears saying that 'the Camera Raw plug-in cannot be found'. The Adobe CC app menu says that Camera Raw is up to date. Can anyone tell me how to restore this? It is the best plug-in for photographs.
Thanks! John

I reset prefs with no success. The keyboard shortcuts panel of PS 2018 does not list Camera Raw under 'Filter' so PS 2018 is not seeing it. When PS 2017 was running on this computer the Camera Raw filter would open with the shortcut.
I have an older Mac Book Pro which has Photoshop 2017. There is a keyboard shortcut for the Camera Raw filter and Camera Raw is listed under 'Filter' in keyboard shortcuts and works.

Resetting preferences only destroyed my work flow. I still can't connect to camera raw CC even though the Adobe CC app menu says it is up to date. How do you connect to it? It doesn't show in the filters menu or in the keyboard shortcuts menu. Older web tutorials say that you can open a file directly in Camera Raw CC but that is impossible with the new version. Is it possible to download PS CC 2017 and maybe connect to it that way?
