Hello,
I'm creating profiles in PS camera RAW using the "new profile" dialog by alt clicking on the "new preset" icon. When I save the profile it stores the new profile (.xmp) in the path "C:\Users\Michael\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings", which is fine for PS, but Lightroom cannot "see" this path in it's profile browser when it starts up. Lightroom is looking in the path "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings" for profiles.
How do I set PS and LR to look in the same location for profiles?
I'm using the latest versions of PS CC and LR Classic CC on a Windows 10 machine.
Regards,
Michael
Thanks for the reply. Yes I was looking in the profile browser. I have figured out what the problem was. You are correct where LR is supposed to "look" for profiles. However if in the preferences you have the box "Store presets with this catalog" checked, then LR will not look in the same place Photoshop places profiles. See the screen cap below. I unchecked the box and I can now see PS created profiles in LR.

That's where the profiles created in camera raw are on this windows 10 machine and Lighroom sees them.
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings
Your looking under Develop>Basic>Profile Browser?
