Question

Can no longer use mouse zoom during selection using Polygonal Lasso tool.

Not sure what happened, but I while making my selections with the Polygonal Lasso tool, I used to be ablet to zoom in and out via mouse wheel. I can no longer do this. My mouse wheel zoom goes from zoom to vertical scroll as soon as I make my first 'click' to begin my Lasso selection.

Any ideas?

Which version of Photoshop and Windows are you using? Are there any other applications running in the background?

Are you trying to zoom when making the path with the Polygon Lasso tool or after the selection?

To Zoom in and Out, we use the ALT+mouse wheel scroll together while using the Polygon Lasso tool. Try doing it once, and let us know if this helps.

I'm using Photoshop 22.5.3 and Windows 10 21H2 (Build 19044.1706)

The only other applications in use are my regular day to day apps. This has ALWAYS worked until recently.

This is happening when I'm making my selection (path) as stated. As soon as I finish my selection, the mouse wheel zoom returns to normal.

Pressing Alt+Mouse wheel scroll just scrolls vertically as well.
