can not open photoshop

Help photoshop no longer works, what happens there. I have paid, but a message keeps popping up saying: Sorry, photoshop has encountered an error and needs to close. Why does it keep going. I can not use photoshop.

Which version of  Photoshop and Windows do you have? How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have? Did you try re-installing the application?
