Hey, @Selfishbeech. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out.
Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.
Try this: set Photoshop to run with administrator privileges by default.
If this does not help, try these steps:
Ensure there are no stale preferences in your Photoshop. Go to the location of the preference folder below and rename it to backup.
These changes will give a fresh start to Photoshop as a fresh install. Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hello @Sameer K
after renaming Adobe Photoshop 2024 to Adobe Photoshop2014.old I'm able to create new files but now some tools are not working properly especially transformation tool , can't drag and drop the imgaes, when i try open file ( in photoshop file> open > select ) either it's not happening or showing result after I repeat the process two three times and at last i've to restart photoshop again to perform that same action.
sometimes selection tool is behaving correctly sometimes even they are not wroking.

@Sameer K every single tool is showing some sort of problem
it works fine when we freshly create new file after launching photoshop but within two three minutes tools don't work properly.
So basically tools which I use in making social media content (eg- product manipulation) are not working even crop tool is also not working.
I was happy that now I can create new files on photoshop and work but paid verions also giving no benefit I think so.
it's so frustating that I am not able to work on my portfolio and other stuff as well.
InDesign and illustrator are working fine but then why this to photoshop.

Thanks for sharing the details. Here are a few things to check:
You're using Photoshop v25.7, please update to the latest is v25.11.
Your machine has two GPUs: the power-saving Intel UHD 750 Graphics and the high-performance Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti.
Please try these two suggestions:
1 - Update the graphics drivers using Intel's auto-detect program, as Nvidia drivers already updated.
2 - Follow step 6 in the content here to configure the default GPU for Photoshop: https://adobe.ly/49YQSCI
Let me know if this helps. Thanks!

hey,
sorry for the late reply ( wifi router was not working properly )
thanks for giving me suggestions
as per second suggestion i've followed the step 6 and watched the video as well
steps i've followed
nvidia control panel> manage 3d settings >programe settings
right after this according to the 6th point of your suggestion my nvidia control panel tab has to show me two steps
step 1: select a program to customize ( in which i've to select adobe photoshop.exe )
step 2: select the prefferd graphic processor for this program.
( as c.jpeg attached )
rather, i'm getting only one option ( chk a.jpeg attached)
and most of the feature is using setting is : "use global setting" .
what should i do now?
