I'm on a Windows OS that uses OneDrive. When I try to save a file to a folder that I created today, Photoshop doesn't find the folder even though I can see it in my File Explorer. When I save the file in the default folder instead, I can see the file in Photoshop's Recent Images, but I can't see the file in my File Explorer.

Without exact info on file paths and other stuff like user permissions that isn't really going anywhere. If you created the folder outside PS, chnaces are you may simply need to adjust the properties because you inherited wrong settings from somewhere.

Thanks, Mylenium.
When I go to Properties, it shows that the folder is read-only. So I un-checked Read Only and clicked Apply but when I open the Properties for the folder again, it still shows that the folder is read-only. My changes aren't sticking.

I am following the instructions on this page: How to Fix Folders Reverting to Read-Only on Windows 10 but the scan is taking some time and I'm not sure it will be complete before I leave for work so I may have to re-do it.

Do not work directly off OneDrive or other cloud folders. Save to your internal hard drive and copy files from there.

I don't use OneDrive to save my files on. I only mentioned it because I thought maybe it was affecting my drive.
I opened File Explorer and chose Run as Administrator and I was able to run it as the administrator so I unchecked Read Only from the folder, applied the change, and closed the Properties menu. Then I opened the Properties menu again but it was still read only. I also tried re-starting my computer but the change didn't stick.

But I don't know how to disable my Anti-Virus software so I didn't do that part. I also wasn't able to change the folder attribute so I didn't do that either.

I disabled my Trend Micro and re-started my computer but when my computer came back on, the Trend Micro icon was still in my taskbar.

I disabled Trend Micro only for the folder that I want to make not read-only and re-started my computer but I still didn't have any luck.

I ran
attrib -r +s C:\xampp\htdocs\websitename
in the command prompt while running it as an administrator, but it still didn't work. I've tried all of the solutions I found on the internet and I don't think there is anything left to try.
