Hello. I'm doing a very simple gradient effect on text and "gradient map" doesn't activate for me. I'm watching a tutorial on how to use it and for some reason, my feature doesn't show up. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?!

I even trouble shooted and used a photo and still nothing.

In Photoshop look under Image>Mode and verify your image is RGB Color and 8 or 16 Bits/Channel.

Change to 16 or 8 bits per channel because Gradient Map adjustments aren't available in 32-bit mode.

Why have you chosen to work in 32 bits/channel? 32 bit floating point is really for the extended dynamic range of HDR images and renders where you can have dark areas below the black you can see on screen, and light areas above the white you can see.
For normal images 16 bits/channel, integer, is more than enough to avoid banding artifacts and gives you access to more of Photoshops functions.

I think 32 channels give me more color option, But do you know how to export to see the same HDR format as I see inside the file?

Thank you!
