Cannot copy from Photoshop to Illustrator anymore.

I have been using Adobe products for almost 30 years but recently have been experiencing many many issues since recent updates (very frustrating).

My current issue is that I can no longer copy anything from PS to AI, something I do many times per day.

When I copy something (not a smart object) from PS it will paste within PS. But when I try and paste into AI nothing happens.

I have tried resetting prefs and have rolled back and installed several versions of both PS and AI but the problem is still there. Its worth noting that although I can roll back PS to a much older version this option is no longer available for Illustrator and I can only roll back to 25.4.2, which I'm currently running.

Im running Windows 10 and Photoshop 22.2 (as i read this fixed the issue) but have tried 22.5, 23.0 and 23.01 without any luck.

Hi, maybe is a security issue in your computer, check the access permissions 

also you may try the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to remove the existing app installation & reinstall once done.
