Cannot open any PDF files in Photoshop v21.0.2

Eachtime I try to open a PDF file in Photoshop 2020 I get the attached error "Could not open xxxx.PDF" because of a disk error. The scratch disks is set to my C: drive only and I can open any other file types and work normally.

All PDF fail to open or do you just get the disk error on that particular PDF shown in you screen capture. If any post your Photoshop 2020 help system info
