I am a remote worker and frequently need to work where there is no internet connection. Now I am receiving an error message on ALL CC apps saying "we can't verify your subscription status" when offline.
There is no way to use the apps without an internet connection. Its not like I am offline for months on end. Just a day.
Fix this quickly. I am paying for unusable software.

This is not normal behaviour – you don't need the internet to use Photoshop (apart from AI and certain selection facilities); Adobe uses the internet to check occasionally to see that you're up-to-date with your subscription.
Maybe check your subscription is connected and working using the Manage Account facility.

With a standard one-year subscription, the license needs to be verified once every thirty days. It will still work for up to 99 days, but with reminders and nag screens.
So if the applications won't open, your licensing has been broken or not valid for three months already. Did you get a new credit card and forgot to update the card number? Is there a firewall blocking the connection?
The quick fix (if payment is current) when offline, is to hook up your phone, open the CC desktop app, and then sign out/sign in. That gives you another 30/99 days.

Subscription all up to date. Checked on adobe.com. That's not the problem. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thanks for the suggestion. Last logged into CC about a week ago to update apps. The issue was when trying to open the app with a terminally poor internet connection. Now all the apps are sulking and refusing to open without the internet.
The licence may be corrupted but that is not my place to fix.

How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?
Consider using the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove the Adobe applications and have a clean install.

And just for clarification, I am not getting a reminder. I am getting the option to connect to the internet or quit the app(s). If I could do so, one (very sub par and unprofessional) workaround would be to use a hotspot from my phone to validate the licence. But a) why should I? and b) I can't with the data esim I am using in Thailand.

Thanks, Derek. Would be a lot easier if adobe just did this for me: a file integrity checker seems pretty easy instead of me wasting half a day doing this.
I simply don't save enough time using adobe's time-saving features to offset the time spent dealing with bugs like this.

Can you confirm your system specs (assuming you want to take some time to try to get the issue resolved)?

Sounds like something in your install is corrupt. I'd uninstall the CC desktop app and reinstall. I've been told that you get an option to "repair" before the actual uninstall, so that might be worth a try.
Before you complain about subscription - this kind of thing happened with perpetual licenses too, and were no easier to resolve.

Hi Mate, I'm having this issue as well. It's just ludicrous that Adobe charges for a product that it wont let you use when the program cant find an internet connection. I'm seriously thinking of cancelling my CC subscription after being an Photoshop, Premiere etc user for over 25 years. Good luck finding a solution. Looks l;like I'm going to have to do a clean install of all the apps. Do you think I can charge adobe for having to solve their own buggy issues?? Never happened when we could just buy a program, install it and be done! Davinci it looking pretty good right about now.

Once you download the application you don't need an internet connection to use it, just once every few weeks to check you're up-to-date with your subscription.
If you can give details of your system and the particular issues you're having we might be able to help, for the vast majority of users Photoshop is stable.

Thanks Derek your help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm having a couple of issues.
System
Metabox Laptop with 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H 2.60 GHz
64Gb Ram
13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H 2.60 GHz
NDIVIA RTX 3050 GOPU
2x 2TB SSD
1/ Photoshop - asking me to login almost everytime I open it up ( this seems to happen every 3-4 months for about 2 weeks)
2/ Photoshop - Not allowing me to use it if it doesn't have internment connection, Happened yesterday, has happened before but not a consistent problem
3/ Photoshop - Saying that I have the application running on too many devices, and getting me to log out of the device I'm actually on, so that I can continue to use it on the device I'm actually one (which it designates as "Unknows - This device)
4/ Premiere- Constant compatibility issues between PS, PP, ME and graphics card. None use the graphics card at all when processing files/video.
ANy advice would be great.
Thanks Richard

Same issue. Totally unacceptable. Installed and verified a day early for a 16-hour flight & unable to use software I am paying for offline and lost more than a day's productivity. This needs to be fixed.
