CC 2018 Application Frame... can I remove it?

Hello,

I just upgraded to CC 2018 (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign). How can I hide/remove the application frame? Did Adobe decide to require Mac users to use it just like Windows users? I want to be able to see through to other windows, browser, e-mail, etc.

This is driving me nuts! Please help.

you can turn off the frame by choosing Window→Application Frame to make Photoshop switch to the floating-window view

The funny thing is that it's Adobe that gives us the option; Apple doesn't. If you use current Mac programs using the "standard" Mac interface like Apple Photos, iMovie, Pages, Keynote, or Pixelmator, they have an application frame that cannot be turned off.

Somehow Adobe thinks we need to be guided around by the hand. Does ANYONE want that annoying frame on?

Agreed. I'm a professional. I don't need handholding or spoonfeeding. Turn it off by selecting the last item on the Window menu on the Menu Bar.
