Change Transparent Black PNG Logo to a White one

I have a black transparent png logo. What is the easiest way to change it to a white transparent PNG logo? I have been using the magic wand, inverting the selection and then painting it white but I am having trouble selecting all of the 'iiep' shape inner letter edges. (NB We are working with these people so I haven't stolen it to use. I am drafting some mock-ups for them and will eventually ask for a white png, but wanted to see if I could make one in the meantime).

Is there an easier way to convert it to white on transparent?

Here is the black logo: http://www.imperial.ac.uk/edudev/flyers/UNESCO-IIEP_logo_black.png

You don't need to select something that is already selected. The existing transparency of this image makes this task easy.

Just open your Levels (CTRL-L) and slide the white marker to the left, just past the spike.

In the Layers panel press the first button next to Locked:

Press d on your keyboard

Press Ctrl + Delete.

edit: didn't see Marian's reply, yeah, there's a lot of easy ways to fill it with white

looks like the Adobe's Forums site is very often down today

I don't think this task has any need for filling with white or deleting anything. We're just inverting the black to white. The pixels are already there and should not be deleted.

Marian, my suggestion neither modifies the transparency of the pixels,  nor it involves any deletion. Ctrl + Delete is a shortcut for Fill with  Background color,  it simply changes the color which is also the effect  from your suggestion and one of the many ways possible

markwill, your messages are showing, unless you have posted more than four

In my experience, Adobe's Forums site interface, functionality, and speed, is one of the worst on the web, when I write messages, I can't even undo. Often I write long replies that disappear after I click Post Message button because of site failure and I'm often reluctant to participate.

By the way, changing color with my method makes is easy when changing to any color. In case you don't know, Alt + Delete fills with Foreground color

Yes, I kept getting error messages.

Your method is great - the ctrl + delete worked perfectly as does alt + delete. Definitely things I will remember.

Thanks!

Emil, you are right. I initially misread your post and today's forum wackiness made it difficult to pull my foot from my mouth quickly enough.
