Changes in Crop Tool in latest CC version

Explorer ,
Nov 10, 2019 Nov 10, 2019

Recently Adobe updated my Photoshop CC and now my crop tool behaves differently.   In the past when I was done resizing and cropping and adjusting things, when I clicked the Move tool it asked if I really wanted to crop, and if I didn't I could cancel out.  (Lots of times I just use the crop tool to see how something would look cropped but I don't want to actually DO the crop)    Now it just does the crop anyway without asking.   Of course I can go back in my history and recover the original that way, but how do I just cancel out of the crop in the first place?

Thanks in advance.

To cancel out of the crop click on the icon that is a circle with a diagonal line going through it.
