Circle printed too large then measured ?

I want to convert centimeters to pixels; therefore I have circle shape which is 3.5cm in diameter; I've calculated the diameter of the circle to roughly 10.99cm.

Although I want to convert this to pixels as so I create a document that fits exactly or almost exactly a circle which I want to create that fits this document size which is 415.37xx pixels in both height and width. That is the formula to which I found to convert the circumference of the original circle shape to pixels and it's result; but when I print out the circle which is created in the document size just mentioned the circle is too large ?

I am not getting it... however, let me try. What is resolution of your document? It appears that 11cm multiplied by 96ppi resolution (or 37,795 ppc) will give you 415px. How you get that 415.37xx number?

I took the circumference and did a calculation which I found online to convert cm to pixels; that is how I got the 415.37xx cm. I could find online if wanted ?

And so that is what I set the resolution of my document 415.37xx in height and in width. Since I want to create a document size which is the exact size of the circumference of the circle which I measured.

I think the calculation you found online is worth looking at. Please post a link.

Of course, a document, which is made of pixels, is a whole number of pixels in size. So you can't have a document 415.37 pixels in size, any more than you can have 2.4 children.

How would I calculate a document size based on the circumfrance measurement of a circle ?

I'm sorry, I have no idea what you mean, since a document size is a rectangle, and a circumference is a single measurement. It's probably because I cannnot imagine why you want to do anything with a circular measurement like this which - as mathemeticians have proven - can't ever be a whole number. Hence, please post the link as I asked.

If you already have the diameter, why not just create a document 3.5cm square? The pixel size would depend on the resolution you set.

If all you have is the circumference, the formula for finding the diameter is Circumference divided by pi (3.14159...). Again, the pixel size depends on the resolution.
