Using Adobe 2019 and now its happening in Adobe2020. Clone will abruptly stop and then shoot up vertically. Been a photo retoucher for 20 years and know my settings are correct. Need to undo and redo clone over and over until it behaves normaly. I have reset all tools, turned on all to default to test it, downloaded new wacom drivers, tried new pen and new keyboard.. nothing is fixing it. This is incredibly frustrating. Anyone can help? It started when I got a new mac mini running on Mojave.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the unexpected behavior of the Clone Stamp Tool, does the issue occur if you use a mouse instead of a wacom pen?

Also, could you share a video of what exactly happens when you use the tool?

Could you try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and see if it helps

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes & actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

Regards,

Sahil
