Clone stamp tool has stopped leaving pixels

I am using the clone stamp tool to remove wires from the face of a building and the tool has stopped working. What's gone wrong? The file is increasing in size so I decreased the proportions of the image to shrink the file size but hat didn't help.

It could be a memory issue. Save your file.  Close PS.  Restart your computer to clear the scratch disk & RAM.

If that doesn't help,  reset your Clone Stamp Tool.  See screenshot.

Resetting the tool worked.
