New Here ,

Hi.  I have problems of clone stamp tool source being frozen AT TIMES specially when moving source so fast and cloning.  I am on CC2019 and even worse in CC2020.  My system is a 2013 Macpro with 64gb or ram. I have attached a screen recording to the problem.  Hope someone can help me with this.  Btw, Ruler off, wacom driver updated and tried some preferences settings and still problem persist. Thanks.

Hi there,

As the Clone Stamp tool is lagging, could you please let us know what version of macOS are you working on?

Also, could you please try enabling "Legacy compositing" located in Photoshop's Preferences > Performance, then relaunch Photoshop and let us know if it helps?

Does the tool lag when you use a mouse instead?

Regards,
Sahil
