I just learned from Matt-K that I can get a better Subject Selection by enabling the Cloud option. My question is two-fold, (a) does the the image get uploaded to Adobe for this, and (b) if so, what does Adobe do with it afterwards? Do they keep any uploaded images for any period of time, claim any rights to them?
Note, I do not store any files in the Adobe Cloud - this does not appear to be necessary for using the Subject Selection tool. I don't want to sound paranoid, but then again Adobe did leak my email address in the breach they had some years ago.
Thanks, Adriaan
Hi @Adriaan_S, On this page (https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/making-quick-selections.html), it indicates: “Cloud processing does not save your data on our servers, and will give you more detailed results than processing on your device.”

Thanks! That answers my question. Apparently this information is buried in the Preferences section for this tool.

i bet our images get uploaded, analyzed and the information is saved maybe even sold... OR - 'we don't save anything on cloud' aka big corporation lingo 'JUST the 'metadata/data' is saved' lol. i bet 100 bucks just a matter of time till somebody will confirm this
