Color picker not picking composite color

In previous versions of PS, if you have a multi layered file and no layers were selected the color picker would pick colors from the composite colors (all layers and adjustment layers) combined.

I found this very helpful. Hope it comes back again.

Correct answer davescm

Select the eyedropper tool.

Go to the options bar at the top of the screen.

Set Sample to "Current and below" or "All layers"
