colour profiles

I have just calibrated my monitor with Colourmunki and saved the profile. Do I access this under, edit, assign profile or under, view, proof setup, custom?

I have a Epson xp-950 printer which I am told I cannot colour profile and should just let the printer manage the colours, is that correct?

Click the angle-icon and choose from the pop-up menu.

What to display in the Status Bar seems to ultimately be a matter of taste, but unless on has need to check another property regularly the Document Profile might be a good one to keep an eye on – in particular when handling images from different sources.

Are you trying to circumvent Photoshop’s Color Management?

What have you read on Color Management so far?

If you are on Windows 10 go to Settings > System  > Display > Color Profile and check that your profile is being used .

If not scroll down that page and click Display Adapter Properties followed by Color management.

Then set your profile as the default (you may need to click "Add" to see it

As far as your printer is concerned , there is no reason why you cannot use profiles you have made, but whether you will see any benefit over Epson profiles will depend on the paper and ink combination you are using. If you do use them , the printer must be set exactly the same way as you set it when you made the profiles (all color management in the printer should have been off). Then in the Photoshop print dialogue use "Photoshop manages color" and pick the profile that you made.
