Computer keeps crashing while editing Lightroom Classic photos in Photoshop

I have an ASUS laptop with 16 MB RAM, 1T HDD and 500 SSD.  Recently, my computer crashes shortly after I start to edit a photo from Lightroom in PHotoshop.  It's getting worse.  I tried upgrading mmy SSD from 250 to 500 and reset my computer.  It was working on for a couple days and now it has started doing it again.  I am running latest version of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop from Adobe CC.
