Hi,
I am trying to copy formatted tables from InDesign in to Photoshop. When I paste in to my Photoshop document it is adding space around the file, ie the box is not flush with the object.
Here's the object in InDesign:
And here's how it pastes in to Photoshop:
Note the additional space being added around the object.
How do you stop this from happening?
Cheers!

Copy/paste between apps can sometimes be problematic. You could try exporting the table to PDF then placing or rasterizing the PDF in Photoshop.

Hi Stephen, thanks for the reply. Yeah, exporting each individual element will be painful, kind of feels like lots of unnesesary steps really. I just wish I knew why Photoshop is adding this arbitary extra space, its not even equal pixels around the object! Cheers!

I'm going out on a limb by saying that there is some data in the clipboard padding out the data. It would be good to confirm if PDF has this issue or not.

The export to selection worked! I think that will be the best way to do this, its not quite as efficient as copy/paste but much quicker than resizing each element or exporting.
Thankyou so much for your help, appreciated.
