Get the Photography plan (annual), payable in a lump sum or monthly at $9.99 per month. The difference is price.
The other is the "single app" plan, which is available for all apps. The license can be purchased month-by-month (at a higher price) for those who need it for a short time.

Check first with your daughter's school or college whether or not they supply a license for the software. My daughter was at college last year and had a CC license provided. She has now moved on to university, and again has a CC license provided. In both cases, sign in is via the educational establishment.

Adobe also offers academic pricing for students and teachers: https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/buy/students.html
It looks like the only option is Creative Cloud All Apps, for about a quarter the regular price (per year). I don't know how the subscription model enters into it. I remember when I went back to school twenty years ago, Adobe sold you a standard license at a good price, that you could continue to use commercially after school. AutoCad (I believe it was) had a license that was incredibly lower than regular price, but was only valid while one was a student, and had to be renewed with proof of affiliation annually.
I was glad I could continue to use my low priced Photoshop/Illustrator bundle after school. Somewhat tempering that is spending thousands on full-price upgrades since then.
