Hello, I have recently installed Adobe PS 2017 on Windows 10 Intel i7 laptop, and I am not able to use any of the blur filter from Blur Gallery on any image.
It just gives the error pop saying, could not complete the field/iris blur command because of program error.
I have already tried uninstalling PS 2017 and installing again. But that also didn't resolve this issue.
I also tried to see the mentioned PSErrorLog file mentioned in troubleshooting steps, but I couldn't find the file there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

What are your Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings > Advanced Settings?

Hello, thanks for the reply.
I have tried the site you mentioned before, but no help.
My Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings > Advanced Settings are:
Drawing Mode: Advanced
Use Graphics Processor to Accelerate ComputationUse OpenCL
Anti-alias Guides and Paths
I also tried with Drawing Mode as Normal, but no luck

This is really annoying by Adobe.
They charge heavy for the software, but in turn no customer service.
They don't have customer care to troubleshoot these genuine problems, only way is this forum.
And I don't see this forum helping me in any way.
What is way to escalate the issue, if anyone can help me with that, would be great.

Did you remember to restart after each change?
As for customer care try this:

Thank you, yes, I did restart, but no luck.
Yeah, I did go thru this customer care link, but they don't have chat or call support to troubleshoot software issues.

I seem to recall there was a chat option but not sure where that was exactly …

It’s actually for bug reports and feature requests, but some Adobe employee/s might notice your post there and be able to provide more in-depth help.
If you do maybe also post the Help > System Info.
