Crash with new Camera Raw

I just tried using the Camera Raw filter within the latest version of Photoshop for the first time since downloading the update this past week.

I tried it twice on the same image, after the computer crashed the first time I tried it.

I am using a Mac Pro 8-core 3,1 (2008) running OS 10.5.5 with 24GB RAM and a solid State boot drive.

I opened an image in the newest version of Photoshop, duplicated the layer, then tried to use the Camera Raw filter on the new layer.  Both times that I tried this, I was able to select the white-balance eyedropper tool, but the computer completely froze when I tried to use the tool.  I could not force-quit and had to do a cold reboot both times.

Unchecing "Use Graphics Processor" worked for me!  Whether in opening raw files or using the Camera Raw as a filter.  Thank you!
