Creating a large file for a large projection screen

Hello all,

I need help please.  I use photoshop on a daily basis to design small files like invitations, party favors, small banners, etc.  My boss has asked me to provide a banner that would be shown on a large projection screen at a football game.  I've never created things like this, so I am not sure how to make it to where it will be nice and clear.  It's a 20' wide x 11' tall projection screen using DLP.  Resolution needs to be 1920w x 1080h.

Can someone tell me how to set this up in Photoshop.  I am using Photoshop through Adobe Creative Cloud.

Thanks in advance for any help I can get!!

You simply create a 1920 x 1080 document at 72 DPI. Nothing else matters. You have all the info you need. That aside "clear" in video is an utterly relative term. It all comes down to viewing distance, quality of the projector/ screen, video compression and so on, but you cannot mess with the resolutions. They are set in stone and standardized.

Indeed, it is the number of pixels specified that's necessary. And just to add, you could make the document at 72PPI or any other value; that's just a metadata tag. What is important for Photoshop is the HxW in pixels.
