Creative Cloud issue

I used my apps from creative cloud yesterday, that I paid subscription a few days ago, (my due date is 10th)  and today suddenly my apps were locked and I couldn't update them due to storage issues. I paid for extra space but it is registering my account as that I don't have Creative Cloud. I am on the student & education plan of Creative Cloud for a year now, and I need to solve the problem due to university assignments. 
 
Today, I didn't want to complain so I paid for Creative Cloud again but now I have to download everything again and I don't understand why, since I have the apps, they are just locked. Can you please help me? I would really appreciate it.
