Cropping Images for Google My Business

New Here ,
Dec 05, 2019 Dec 05, 2019

Hi Is it possible to batch crop images for Google my business?  I have on my website a bunch of images related to glamping I would like to add these images to Google my business profile. The images are all different sizes, is it possible to resize all of them so they conform to the image dimension specifications for Google? as I have 100's of images of the site that visitors have taken of the yurt and shepherds hut and surrounding countryside in Herefordshire and to do this manually would take a long time.

If the images have various aspect ratio the images will be fitted to the area entered into Images Processor Fit To. However, the images will have different sizes and have their original aspect ratio.  You would need to include an action in the Image Processor Pro Run that would do a centered aspect ratio crop of the images to a specific aspect ratio so the Fit image the script does will save images that are the same size.   Image processor does not crop images it does a constrained resize.

If they have different Aspect Ratios you would need to crop the images to the Aspect Ratio  the google images have then use Fit image to interpolate the cropped images the the correct size.  It is possible to create an action to do that using my AspectRatioSelection Plug-in script that can be found in my Crafting Actions Package.

You have easy solution using scripts like Image Processor or Image Processor Pro. Look for option: Resize to Fit which will automatically resize image to fit into typed dimension or dimensions.
