CS 4 Photoshop Saving location

This is a question and a possible answer!

I am doing a project involving 300 photos and I want the "Save As" To open the folder where I want to save them.

Many google searches or others say under "Edit >Preference>file handling>file saving  option" will be your answer.

However there is nothing as such re location.

The only way I could manage and works for my situation was to create a destination folder in the folder I took the photo from.

It's not the perfect answer but this will result (in my case) when Save As is invoked to open the "Source" (containing photos to modify in PS) And so show me my destination folder. So it's a 2 clicks job but that I find effective. Yet I'd like a better answer.

I also search the FAQ but it can be very long a frustrating or without the result. I do understand people getting tired to answer the same question all the time. Yet for casual users like me if FAQ does not return a clear and simple answer it's not a good option.
