Adobe shutdown the activation servers for cs2, so you'll have to download and install an cs2 non activation version and use the provided serial number, not your old serial.

Not now. The activation servers have been turned off for CS through to CS3. and the non activation version referred to in Jeff's post is no longer available.

I'm having a similar problem with CS2. Is a solution still available?

As Dave correctly said, CS1, CS2 and CS3 are dead and gone.  Creative Suite is no longer sold by any vendor, retailer or country.

OPTIONS:

Thanks for the replies. I was actually able to solve the problem. A little complicated to explain. I'll just say that I had downloaded CS2 from the links provided at an earlier date, and after some digging found those files were still on my computer. I found the setup file and was able to get Photoshop CS2 going again.
