CS6 Master Suite Device Activation Reset

New Here ,
Sep 29, 2025 Sep 29, 2025

A level 2 Adobe support rep sent me here.

I am unable to reactivate by install of the Adobe CS6 Master Suite as I have reached the maximum device activations. I had some software issues that required full system reinstalls, which prevented me from deactivating my installs. Apparently, support is unable to reset activations anymore. Is there any way to reset this on my end? There are no devices listed under "Activated Devices" in my account page.

The old CS applications had to be deactivated from within the application (Help > Deactivate).

Newer CC applications can be deactivated remotely. That's what "activated devices" lists. CS6 doesn't apply and won't be on the list.

In the past, you could call Adobe and ask them to reset the activation count. They no longer do that for these old applications from 2012 and earlier.
