Please read this (in particular the section titled "Supply pertinent information for more timely and effective answers”):
What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

You are using too new of an operating system should be 10.7, 10.8 or 10.9 (see here). While you may be able to get it to work by flushing your prefs and putting lots of time into this, you should always run an OS that the software was tested and optimized with.
As you sugegst this was working before you may be able to resurrect that condition by going to back to your prefs for the app, or something in your OS changed.
Reset Prefs Thoroughly (Mac)
Quit Your Adobe App (100% you must do this)
Finder >> Go (hold down option to show hidden) >> library
Rename these 4 folders
- Preferences >> Adobe >> Program Name rename to (Program Name .old)
- Library- >> Caches >> com.(Program Name) rename to (Program Name .old)
- Library >> Application Support >> Adobe >> Program Name rename to (Program Name.old)
- /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP rename to (CEP .old)

The idea about renaming these files by adding ".old" is so that you can easily remove the ".old" to get back the original if it becomes necessary. The word "old" isn't magic — it could be anything. But yes, the idea is that if the filename is "ps.psp", you would rename it to "ps.psp.old".
If you are replying by email, be sure to remove your signature line.
