cursor lag after stroke

Hi everyone.
I've noticed it when moved to windows 11. Not sure if it's related though.
When I move the cursor in photoshop via mouse or tablet (also doesn't matter what tool is active) it moves smoothly. When I make a stroke (again doesn't matter what tool is active) it moves smoothly too, but there's a huge lag right after it for a few seconds. After that everytrhing works normal again. 

This post sounds very similar but the solution doesn't help.

windows ink turned off(I'm using the config txt file)

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

It was already unchecked but looks like checking it solved my problem. I need to test it more but right there's no lag. Hope it'll stay like that. Thank you!

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

    I had the same exact issue. I thought it was my drawing tablet, however the issue persisted with my mouse. 
    I set the "Deactivate Native Canvas" option to checked and the issue was resolved.

    Thank you for the answer.

    Setting the polling rate to 125 Hz doesn't help. I also tried different settings in performance tab with no result. I've never had this problem before on the same pc.

    Another thing I found is that when in ruler mode there's no lag in drawing area but the cursor lags when I move it across the interface. When not in a ruler mode there's no lag whatsoever untill I'm using any tool. Then after I make a stroke there's a huge lag for a few seconds as I've described before.

    Slowness or lags while using certain tools or features like Scrubby Zoom, Animated Zoom, Panorama, HDR, Filters, Brushes, Select And Mask, etc
    If you're using a gaming mouse (Logitech G700S or similar) with a custom driver, set the polling rate to 125 Hz in the device driver.

    Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere: 

    Restore your preferences using this manual method:

    Does it work correctly? 

    If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. 

     

     

    It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
