Hello,
I am trying to use a Fill Pattern but it keeps appearing with a pink background. This happens in the preview and when I actually confirm the Fill. I have never seen this before but I am not sure why it is doing this. Can somebody help? Thank you!

If you restore your preferences using this manual method does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to create a random pattern fill with a pattern that has transparent background.
Were you able to figure out what the issue was and how to resolve it? Resetting preferences did not fix the issue for me.
No idea where the magenta/pink is coming from. This doesn't happen when I use the random fill script on patterns that do not have transparency.
Cheers.

I think I've solved it. I believe it's when the pattern image is too large.
On all the images I had trouble with, the problem disappeared once the files had been shrunk.
