Daily Crashes in PR, LR & PS

Community Beginner ,
Dec 22, 2018 Dec 22, 2018

I feel a bit helpess these days. Since the new update in all 3 Programms I don´t get anything than crashes! Lightroom works in usual use, but if I edit a picture in PS from LR (Ctrl + E) then PS crashes after 5-15 min - and LR immediately after it. I got the same problem in Premiere Pro, for example: I cut my videos and add a new layer to the timeline, PR crashes - another example: I want to export my finished video (I tried it 7, 8 times in a row!) PR crashes! And I also recognize that every of these programms are slower than before the problems started. Anybody an idea what could be the problem and how to solve it?

Configuration is more meant for memory, graphics card, disk space etc.

Check the reason of crash in event manager of Window OS ( Look into the faulty module)

Check for any update of your graphic card driver and window OS ( File explorer > Right click on This PC > Manage > Device Manager > Display adapter> Double click on the graphic card > Check for update > Search Automatically )

Repair the C++ files ( Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall a program > Instead of Uninstalling right click and repair it)

Check any update for Window OS

Hi MC,

There is a known bug with LR and PS. Quit both programs. Launch Photoshop first, then Lightroom.

I don’t use Premiere Pro, so you may want to ask in that forum. Here is the list of bug fixes:

Bugs fixed in versions 13.x releases of Premiere Pro

Have you updated to the latest patches?
