Delete CTRL for move tool hotkey

Explorer ,
Mar 06, 2020 Mar 06, 2020

when i'm drawing i swap between Ctrl+S amd Ctrl+D for brush and eraser. if i leave my pinky finger on the Ctrl button to long it turns into the move tool and will move or select the layers, which is frustrating. how do i remove that option for the move tool? i checked the hotkey customization and even that didnt work. I even deleted the move tool hotkey "v" and nothing. any suggestions?
