Dialogs (new Window()) Documentation

Does anyone know where there is some good documentation for creating and using dialog boxes with Photoshop javascript? I'm trying to work from scripts I've downloaded that contain dialogs, but can't figure out exactly what is what.

I am by no means a javascript expert, but can usually do fairly well with good documentation and good examples.

I have looked through the forums here for something about this and found some script UI generators. Has anyone tried those and if so, do they work well?

RapidScriptUI is one of them.

I don't have any direct experience with RapidScriptUI. I did use CSUIB at one time but I now prefer to create my own dialogs.

If you have a current version of Photoshop, you will want to look in the JavaScript Tools Guide. There are also lots of examples and code snippets at http://ps-scripts.com/bb/index.php

Thank you, Michael. I prefer to write my own also. I have CS4 and didn't know about the Javascript Tools Guide until you mentioned it here. I did a search and found it in my Adobe installation folder. I think that will be a very big help.

I'll also check out that webpage you linked.
