JUst did simple migration imac to mac mini and ADobe seems so destry my workspaces,  3rd party filters, keyboard shortcut, tool tips, prefrences, and probaly few other things don't come to mind yet.  Can some one plese without the longwinded rabbit hole links (already got Adobe links, thanks), got the confusing ADobe  links, in few sentences says where and  if hope of getting these back in under 90 min of draning tedious work.

Any one know why in 2022 Adobe still does this? Does not seem to happen with other apps. thanks.

Flabbergasted.

Migrating on a Mac is horrific at best. You're going to have a lot of pain if you continue to try and use software migrated instead of installed.

Use the CC desktop app to uninstall and do a fresh install then backup your settings, presets and preferences from your old Mac to migrate over manually after installing successfully.

Migrating works well IF.. IF... you are staying on the same architecture. Going from Intel to M1, you cannot migrate your apps and have them work right.

The best bet is to migrate data and install apps fresh.

You'll have to manually move some of your settings because of where they are stored.

BTW, you know that you can get free help at the Apple Store for migrating data to a new Mac?
