I am trying to save money and find the best plan for me. My use case is I buy books to read online but a few have been just .png or .jpegs for each page and I am trying to make them into PDF to have less files and save space. I know Acrobat is the go to for PDF creating but it does not like to work with images that are differnt file times than .jpeg from what I have tested with (Correct me if im wrong about that). So I need something to batch convert .png to .jpeg and photoshop has that ability as well as being able to create PDFs aswell.

When looking at the plans I see there is "Photogaphy (20gb)" CAD  $12.99 and "Photoshop" CAD $ 27.99 and that Photoshop is included in both what is the difference between the two versions of photoshop? Is there a more cost effective method to do what I am trying?

I have the Photography Plan (20Gb) and find it so easy that Lightroom-CLASSIC can export PDFs from the Print Module and the Book Module. I simply select all the photos for the PDF, open the Print module, set a template that I like, then 'Print' to PDF (using a 3rd party PDF 'Printer', or the WiIndows 'Microsoft Print to PDF' 'Printer'.  Macs also have a PDF option in the printer dialog)

Or design a 'Book' in Lr-CLassic and export the pages as a PDF.

Photoshop can also create PDFs (but not as easy as Lr-Classic!)

I would Recommend the "Photogaphy (20gb)" CAD $12.99 as the best value. You get 'Full' Photoshop & ACR, Lightroom-Classic, access to all Lightroom-Mobile Apps, a Portfolio website, Adobe Bridge, etc.

Here is my quick PDF viewed in Foxit Reader--

And you can be creative in the Lr-Classic Print module!

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 14.2 Photoshop 26.3, ACR 17.2, Lightroom 8.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 15.0.2, .

There is no difference in the version of Photoshop that you get – it's the same app in both cases.

As Bojan points out, the single-app Photoshop plan includes the full version of Adobe Fresco, plus more online cloud storage. It can also be purchased month-to-month, whereas the Photography plans cannot.

By contrast, the Photography plan includes Lightroom and Lightroom Classic, and is offered only as an Annual (12-month) subscription.

This plan comparison table should make everything clearer.

Generally, most customers find one of the three photography-related plans to be of better value – but it depends on your needs.

Thanks, Jane! Amazing that something like that hadn't existed previously.

These plans can be confusing, and if we had a quarter for every time someone (rightly) asked the difference... 🙂
