Display issues in Photoshop 23.1.1 on macOS 11.6.2

I've had a few weird display issues happen with Photoshop lately. 

#1: When I open up an existing jpg and rotate it twice, the whole thing turns black and I can't see the jpg anymore

#2: When I open an existing psd document, instead of showing the actual file, it displays an earlier psd that I worked on in the past 24 hours or so that I previously closed.

#3: I cannot change the canvas size. Nothing happens when I enter new numbers.

What can I do to fix all of these problems?

I'm currently using the most up-to-date version of photoshop (23.1.1) on a macbook pro running OS Big Sur 11.6.2

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop 23.1.1. Would you mind telling us since when you're experiencing this issue?

You can try disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor from Photoshop by going to Preferences, then Performance. Once done, relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.

First, try disabling GPU in the preferences (Preformance tab). Any better?
If not, go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Better?
If not, recalibrate and build a new ICC display profile, the old one might be corrupted.
If you are using software/hardware for this task, be sure the software is set to build a matrix not LUT profile, Version 2 not Version 4 profile.
If turning OFF GPU works, it's a GPU bug and you need to contact the manufacturer or find out if there's an updated driver for it.

Ok, I will try some of these suggestions and see what works and try to remember to post here!
