I recorded a video of how this tool works now. See the link: https://yadi.sk/i/ISQ18QDQf1OJ0w
The expected behavior is a small window remains on top of the large window. So you can look at the process as a whole without using the zoom constantly.

Now the small window immediately fades into the background as soon as I point the tool at the main drawing in the first window.

Please help!

Hi

The reason it's not working when you create a new window for the same document and resize it smaller is that the first window is still running in a tab. That is expected behavior for a tabbed interface.

Pull the larger window down again and resize both windows so they are next to each other. Or you can start with Window > Tile.

Also, is there a reason your website is collecting cookies from us?

Thanks! I'll try your solution.
I don't know about cookies, it's just a cloud service like a dropbox

Hi

I am at my computer now and just stepped through this. Instead of "Tile", choose Arrange > Float All in Windows (or just drag the windows down as you did in your video). If either is in a Tab, the other will go behind as you work.
