Hallo,
I export my text logo as svg format but there is 1 problem I want to be sure before I ask the same question in Wordpress forum. I have already inserted svg function in wordpress.
as you can see in screenshot I have background with yellow color :
when I upload this logo text to my wordpress website I see only text and not background color.
is this normal for svg images . does they don't have background colors?
I have never worked with svg I want to be sure is this normaal in svg?
thanks

Is there a background on original? If so, you need to remove it before saving it to an svg file.

What happens if you Flatten the image before you export it to SVG?

I think you probably need to separate the two. The text is vector, but the background color is raster. You can make the background color as a vector shape, but I suspect the color will still be pixels.
This is probably another example of Photoshop's very limited vector capabilities, and why it should be done in Illustrator. You can try to upload the background as one element and the text separate on top.
